Fisgin the Beaver River in Beaver Utah – Tips and Update!
The Beaver River is a Runoff river located just East of Beaver in the Tushar Mountains. The Beaver river is fed by multiple tributaries – Merchant Creek, Three Creeks, the East Fork, and South Fork. Small streams can also be found between the lakes on the mountain. The main (Upper) river is approx. 12 Miles long.
The Beaver river winds its way along the Main road (hwy 153) heading to the ski resort. It is stocked regularly throughout the Summer months with Rainbow and some Brown trout. May also catch Cutthroat and Brook Trout.
Flies, Small Spinners and Bait are usually the easiest way to catch trout in this river. Gold and Silver seem to be the preferred color.
There are a couple of spots near the Ponderosa Campground and Turnoff to Little Reservoir that are Wheelchair/Handicap Accessible.

Youth that are 15 and Under can participate in the Statewide Youth Hunts. There is not currently an age limit for Turkey Hunting – If you have passed the Hunter’s Education, you can hunt. Hunters under 14 must be accompanied by an adult that is 21 years of age or older.

Wild Turkey CWMU Hunt – April 12 through May 31st. (Check Guidebook for Details)

This is a Beautiful gun and extremely rare to find one in the Box and Never Fired – (May have been fired once – Debatable)
No Serial Number – Means the gun was manufactured between 1936 and 1963 (Not sure how to narrow it down from there)
There are a two small marks on the stock from handling. Bore is perfect and bluing is perfect. Great gun for a collector.

This is one of those pistols that we have not run across much in the 22 years we have been here.
A SHORT BACKGROUND
In 1925 the Polish, following WWI, put in a manufacturing plant to bolster their military. This was the Radom Plant. In 1939, the Germans invaded Poland and captured the plant. The pistols were still made for a period of time as Radoms, but they soon changed to the P.35.
It seems that collectors put these into a couple different categories. The first would be Post-War P.35’s and would be the most valuable. The second would be the Post capture P.35 when Germany was pumping them out to fuel their movement.
These are still considered to be one of the best made 9mm Luger’s made before World War II. They were using all the best parts and the gun parts fit perfectly.
