Utah Big Game Hunt Dates – 2014

 

We tried to compile a complete list of hunts in one spot – These hunt dates should be verified in the guide books listed below with links.

The Draw Results for 2014 will be available on or before May 30th. (Remaining permits will be Avail. July 10th)

 

BLACK BEAR – We always recommend you check the 2014 Black Bear Guidebook for Details on each hunt below)

Black Bear Pursuit – April 6th through May 28th (Summer Pursuit is July 7th through August 10th – Units that are unrestricted only – Check Guidebook for details)

Spring Limited Entry Black Bear – April 5th through June 2nd (Dates vary based on Unit)

Spot and Stock Limited Entry Black Bear – April 5th through October 28th (Hunts Vary)

Premium Limited Entry Black Bear – April 5th through November 20th (Hunts Vary)

Harvest Objective Black Bear – April 5th through November 20th (Hunts Vary)

Summer Black Bear Pursuit – July 7th – (For Unrestricted Units and Restricted)

Summer Black Bear Pursuit – July 28th

Fall Limited Entry Black Bear Hunt – August 23rd through September 29th

TURKEY – We always recommend you check the 2013–14 Utah Upland Game and Turkey Guidebook for details on the hunts below.

Limited Entry Turkey Hunt – April 12th through April 24th

Wild Turkey CWMU Hunt – April 12 through May 31st. (Check Guidebook for Details)

Youth Turkey Hunt – April 25th through April 27th (Must have General Season Tag – Check Details in Guidebook above)

General Season Turkey Hunt – April 28th through May 31st

We have heard that they will be doing a Fall Turkey hunt.  These tags should go on sale sometime in September.

ANTLERLESS – 2014 Utah Big Game Application Guidebook

Application for Antlerless permits will be held from May 30th through June 30th. Drawing results will be available July 9th

DEER – We recommend checking the 2014 Utah Big Game Application Guidebook

Youth Archery Deer permits available – July 15th

Premium Limited Entry Rifle Deer – Oct. 18 through Oct. 26th

Premium Limited Entry Archery Deer – August 16th through September 12th

Premium Limited Entry Muzzleloader Deer – September 24th through October 2nd.

Some Hunts for Muzzleloader Deer go from Sept. 24th through Dec. 4th. Check each hunt individually for specific dates.
